Halal
Halel refers to everything that is permissible to use or for engaging in Islamic law. Halel is mainly referred towards food and drinks however it is also designated towards Matters of life.
Halal foods are the foods that Sharia law allow Islam’s to eat, the criteria for a food to be halal is that is specifies both which foods are allowed as well as they preparation of the food.
To be Halal, The foods must come from a supplier that has been using halal practises, which have been subjected to a certificate of a Halal Practising. Slaughtering Process is very specific as it must be done by the following:
· Slaughter must be done by a Muslim, whilst doing this, he must recite the name of Allah
· Must be Slaughtered in a specific way and order(throat, windpipe’s and Blood Vessels )
· Blood must be drained from the Veins
Muslims must also make sure that other products are Halal as some products may consist of non-halal foods. For Example, Frequently some products contain non Halal products which are forbidden to be consumed on Muslims.

Haram
Haram, meaning ‘sinful’ in Arabic, refers to anything that has been forbidden by Allah.
There are two types of Haram, which include;
1. Prohibited because of its up bring of harm upon an individual
2. Prohibited because of external reasons, which are related to items that are prohibited
